Image Guidelines for Custom Car Air Fresheners

Before you upload

What makes a good photo

Follow these and your freshener comes out the way you pictured it. Not sure about your photo? Send it to us before you order and we’ll take a look.

Your photo should

At least 1000×1000 pixels

Straight off your phone is plenty. Screenshots and images saved from social media are usually too small.

Nothing important cut off

The main subject needs to fit inside the frame — ears, tails and hair included.

Well lit

Printed products come out about 20% darker than they look on your screen, so bright beats moody.

Everything you want on it

Whatever is in the photo is what we work from. If you want it on the freshener, it has to be in the picture.

What that looks like

**Sharp and bright**Subject fills the frame, nothing cut off.

**Blurry**Out of focus stays out of focus in print.

**Too dark**Print comes out ~20% darker still.

**Too small**Under 1000×1000 turns into blocks.

**Cut off**Ears, chin or tail missing from the frame.

Two things worth knowing

Text comes out mirrored on the back

Both sides are printed, and the reverse is a mirror image so the cut shape lines up. If your photo has writing in it, that writing will read backwards on the back — like looking in a mirror. It’s just how physics works.

A low-quality photo can hold up your order

If your photo doesn’t meet these guidelines it could delay production, and in some cases a low-quality photo may result in a product we can’t guarantee or refund. So please choose your image carefully — or ask us first.
